Regal Port Douglas

Charming location near the beach and restaurants made for an enjoyable stay. Stairs were challenging with heavy luggage.

Location in centre of Pt Douglas meant that no need for a car.Friendly management who were very helpful when things didn't go quite right - I tripped the power switches twice, also very good advice about the area.

Very easy, comfortable lodgings in a great location....

The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and shops. Our room was spacious and clean.

needed more kitchen space for cooking.

Lovely views, enjoyed marvellous and incredible setting.

It took just 10 minutes by car to get to the airport.

The pool was just right for a cool dip.

I was really frustrated with the dark lighting in the room-we had to keep the lights on even during the day. The stairs to our apartment were a nightmare, especially with heavy luggage. Plus, accessing the spa bath for a shower was a big hassle, not ideal for someone with mobility issues like mine.

We chose Regal Port Douglas from the internet and were delighted that it matched the description. Sheryl & Bob were extremely helpful and welcoming. The room met all our requirements and was very comfortable. The location was ideal, in easy reach of four mile beach and delightfully close to Mossman Groge, Daintree Village and river and Cape Tribulation. Would definitely recommend to friends and family who are planning to visit Australia and the East Coast over the next year.

Perfect location, just a short walk to everything! Kym was super helpful with our reef trip. Only downside, the kitchen could use more space for prep.

The service was great - we were greeted with a lovely welcome when we arrived at the hotel, everyone was so helpful and the room was exactly what we paid for but nicer - really enjoyed our stay and we will definatley be back!

There was nothing I didnt like about the hotel, we only stayed for two nights and we read that the hotels policy is only to service the room after 8 days of someone staying there - where I dont mind the room not be serviced, if i was staying for a week i suppose the only thing that I would like would be to have fresh towels provided every few days.Other than that I couldnt fault anything!

The owners were extremely helpful and our stay was very pleasant. Loved the spa bath and the lanovera products. It was also great to have a transfer already booked from the airport.

The room we had was quite small but I knew to expect that.

I found pd to be a great little tourist town. Quiet, charming and just enough shops and restaurants to keep you going. The beach is perfect for long walks or running. If you like swimming in the waves this will not disappoint The staff at the Regal Port Douglas to be very helpful and the apartments were cleaned and well appointed. The location of this hotel is perfect, just around the corner from the main shopping street and a couple blocks to 4 mile beach. Overall a great place to stay

Staff were like the ultimate chommies, super helpful! Our room had this lekker spa on the deck, perfect for a sundowner! And the pool? Just right for a cool dip after the heat, even if it's a bit older decor.

Only downside was the room could be a bit dark during the day, had to keep the lights on.

Well, it was a nice stay of 4 nights. The room was stylish and neat with hot tub, air con, for example, met expectation.

Great location on macrossan street, super close to shops and dining! The pool was perfect, and our hosts were super helpful with bookings.

Some stairs can be a hassle.
